3DS Max is one of the main programs that we will be using for creating models and environments. We began by learning the basics of the program such as what each toolbar does.
The first thing that we did was insert different shapes such as cubes and cylinders. We then figured out how to align them and view them from the vectors. As well as this we also figured out how to merge the shapes with each other and even cut the faces of the shapes so that it cuts it out from the other shape.
Another tool that we used was the extrude tool. This allowed us to increase or decrease the size of a face that we had selected. In this case we selected an offset face within the cyber and then extruded it inwards do that it created a crate shape.
